Grass fed beef at MCREY FARM

Why the emphasis on grass fed?

Because it's healthier for the animal and healthier for you, it's a win-win situation.
It is our sincere belief that only happy, healthy animals can give us the food that will bring us to optimum health.

Let's talk about how it's healthier for you.

As you read this research keep in mind that our cattle are grass-fed and grass-finished, they are never fed grain. And, our pastures have been managed in accordance with organic principles for as long as we have owned them. We will never implant our cattle with hormones, and routine antibiotics aren't necessary because our cattle are healthy. I prefer to talk about the positives of grass-fed beef, so I won't go into detail about the horrible conditions at filthy, dusty, smelly feedlots, or the kinds of garbage that are fed to these animals that then wind up on the supermarket shelf and in your fast food burger. We encourage you to do your own homework, buy locally from people you know, visit the farm where you buy your meat, and Be a Consumer Who Cares.

We also sell pasture raised pork. To find out more, visit our Tamworth pig page.
